Biography

Dr Christine McTigue studied medicine at the University of Sydney. She obtained her pathology fellowship in 1990 after training at Prince Henry’s, the Queen Victoria and Monash Medical Centre, Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute and the Royal Children’s Hospital. Subsequently Dr McTigue worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital and then spent time at the Gippsland Base and Warrnambool Base Hospitals before turning to private practice. A clinical instructor for the Monash postgraduate program, Dr McTigue has worked at DOR for the past 10 years, based at Frankston Hospital.
