Biography

Dr Anusha Kapoor graduated from Government Medical College, Jabalpur, India in 1993. She completed her postgraduate training in Clinical Pathology at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, India in 1996. In 1999, Dr Kapoor gained her Diplomate National Board of Examinations (DNB) in Pathology from the Institute of Pathology (IOP), ICMR, New Delhi. She worked as a Senior registrar at Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi before accepting roles as a specialist in Ranchi, India and in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With three published works to her name, Dr Kapoor has also contributed to pathology textbooks for undergraduates and has presented three papers at the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists conferences. Dr Kapoor joined DOR Pathology as a registrar in Anatomical Pathology in 2005, became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2010 and continued on as pathologist at DOR Pathology from February 2010.
